Just like a theme park, one needs fast-lane tickets, especially to visit the Vatican.You don’t want to cue for hours among sweaty tourists in the burning sun.Although the beauty of the Sistine Chapel compensates the burden of long waiting lines.
We tossed a coin in the Trevi fountains, to make sure we’ ll come back one day. There aren’t enough days in a week to try all those wonderful adresses. An absolute must though, is diner at Aroma, a rooftop restaurant in Palazzo Manfredi with a splendid view of the Colosseum.
And don’t dare to leave this city without having enjoyed the tonarelli or spaghetti carbonara at La Antica Pesa.
